Will page numbers be added to Topical Texts and Annotations so that I can properly cite the books?
Texts and Annotations, whether in print or electronic (i.e. as eLooseleafs or as part of a Westlaw Topical Texts and Annotations Collection) should be cited to chapter and section numbers/headings, and not to page or paragraph numbers. The reason for this is that pages frequently change from release to release, and in fact, page and paragraph numbers have never been an appropriate way of citing our Looseleaf titles, even in print. This remains the case now that they are available electronically on Westlaw.

I can pick and choose Looseleaf content in Print and eLooseleaf content on Proview. Why am I not able to do so on Westlaw?
On Westlaw, consistent with our existing subscription products, we are offering bundled options for the Corporate Commercial Collection in order to 1) provide a complete solution for practitioners within a given area of law, and 2) to do so at a discounted price. The bundle price is less than the annualized cost of each of the individual titles on Print/Proview combined.

We understand that you may not need all the titles in the bundle offerings. In this case, you continue to have the option to pick and choose the content on Print and/or Proview.

  1. Corporate law practice:
    • Directors, officers and shareholders roles and responsibilities, charities and not-for-profit, corporate formation, capacity and powers of a corporation, corporate governance, corporate meetings, franchises, fiduciary duties, partnerships and limited partnerships
  2. Commercial law practice:
    • Family owned business; electronic commerce, commercial contracts, trade law, risk management and compliance, competition law, outsourcing, procurement, gaming, media law, commercial arbitration, information management, health product manufacturing, confidential information, advertising and marketing
