John Mackie

John Mackie joined Practical Law Canada after working for several years as a contributing lawyer-editor for Thomson Reuters' Westlaw and Business Law Currents publications.

Previously, he was general counsel of Gennum Corporation, advising on corporate, commercial, and securities matters.

Before that, he was assistant general counsel of Imax Corporation, associate general counsel of AT&T Canada Long Distance Services Company, and an associate with Fraser & Beatty (now Dentons).
